Discover Bank seeks more than $13,000 on an open account

GRETNA – A bank alleges it is owed more than $13,000 in sums due.

Discover Bank filed a complaint on Feb. 20 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Deanna M. Jones.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off an account balance of $13,185 plus interest. The plaintiff alleges defendant has failed to pay off the account despite amicable demand.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
