GRETNA – Unifund CCR LLC is seeking more than $19,000 in sums allegedly due on a man's open account.
The funding company filed a complaint against Craig Nutton on Feb. 20 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $19,338.14 plus interest. The defendant has received amicable demand by the plaintiff, the suit states, but to no avail.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. Unifund is represented by Charles F. Dismukes of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
