Synchrony Bank seeks $2,300, alleging customer's negligence

GRETNA – Cavalry SPV I LLC is seeking more than $2,000 allegedly due on a man's account.

As assignee of Synchrony Bank, the finance company filed a complaint against Ross Stouf on Feb. 21 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant is indebted for the balance of $2,375.95 plus interest on an open account. Despite amicable demand, the suit claims, the defendant has failed to pay the balance owed.

Cavalry SPV is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Edward F. Bukaty III in Metairie.


The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
