Home Bank files legal action seeking over $18,000

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $18,000 from an electrical company.

Home Bank N.A., formerly known as Home Bank, filed a complaint on Feb. 27 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Jouandot Electrical Services LLC, Ronald Jouandot Sr. and Bertha Jouandot.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off an account balance of $18,544 plus interest. The plaintiff alleges defendant has failed to pay off the account despite amicable demand.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Clay Legros of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 792595.
