Federal Court
File00014266780

BATON ROUGE - The Louisiana-area sushi chain Geisha, Sushi with a Flair was brought to federal court for allegedly harassing and discriminating against its female employees.

The complaint was filed on May 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana by plaintiffs McKensi Lambert and Cayley Moreau. The plaintiffs were employed by the defendant.

Other individual defendants in the case include Thanh Binh, Tien Le, Robert Lindsey and Stephen Molony.

Molony allegedly made continuous sexual remarks about the plaintiffs' bodies and sexual habits. According to the complaint, Molony also suggested one of the plaintiffs insert a vibrating neck massager into her vagina. An investigation ensued after Lambert reported the issue and Molony allegedly apologized by giving Lambert a hug.

Tien is accused of sending pictures of his genitalia to his employees via Snapchat.

Lindsey allegedly made many sexual comments to the plaintiffs about his body and the bodies of female employees and customers.

Binh allegedly said that all Black people should be killed in front of Moreau, a Black woman, and used racially derogative language.

The plaintiffs are represented by Jean-Paul Robert of Gonzales.
