NEW ORLEANS - Parish Tillman's May lawsuit filed in Tangipahoa District Court against John Deere Construction and Matt Marin for failure to warn, design defect and negligence was recently removed to New Orleans federal court.

According to the lawsuit, John Deere manufactures the Gator utility vehicle. Tillman was on one of these Gators driven by Marin, the suit says. While Marin was driving, he crashed into a tree, causing personal injury for Tillman, due to the brakes going out on the Gator, the suit says.

Tillman was caused to suffer severe and catastrophic leg injury, pain and suffering, mental anguish and other issues.

Tillman seeks compensation for damages, legal interest, cost of proceedings and general and equitable relief. Tillman is represented by Michael E. Lillis of New Orleans.
