The TC team had an amazing time at ALM’s Women, Influence & Power in Law (WIPL) conference in New Orleans. Each year, WIPL brings together law firm leaders and in-house counsel along with thought leaders from government and academia to share leadership guidance and insights.
Here are just a few of the highlights:
- Evan Goldfarb was recognized as a Women, Influence & Power in Law Award winner! Evan was honored in the Collaborative Leadership category, which recognizes law firm partners who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law. TC attendees Susan Lorenc, Amanda Hettinger, Sonette Magnus, Chris Hohn and Sarah Stoces were on hand to cheer and celebrate with Evan.
- Amanda Hettinger moderated a panel on “Addressing Consumer Class-Action & Mass Arbitration Challenges,” which also featured firm alumna Brandi Burke, Vice President of Litigation at Charter Communications.
- The conference closed with a session titled “Let’s Hear It From the Boys! A Conversation with Workplace Allies” with Chris Hohn as a panelist.
