A former employee has filed a lawsuit accusing Procter & Gamble of discrimination and retaliation.
Brandon Holloway filed his complaint in federal court against Procter & Gamble Manufacturing Company alleging violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.
According to the complaint, Holloway started working with Procter & Gamble in January 2007. He claims he had exemplary performance evaluations until he reported acts which violated state law and refused to participate in them. He also made a complaint of race discrimination, alleging he was treated differently than his non-white comparators.
Following his reports and refusal to participate in illegal activities, Holloway claims he was retaliated against, culminating in the termination of his employment on December 6, 2022. He says the stated reason for his termination was false and a pretext for discriminatory and retaliatory conduct.
The plaintiff has timely filed charges of discrimination and retaliation with the Louisiana Commission on Human Rights and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Both charges are currently under investigation.
Holloway seeks statutory damages including compensatory damages, back pay, benefits, special damages, reinstatement and attorney fees.
