A Louisiana couple claims the new 2023 Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel they purchased was defective.

Doniven S. Manchester and Brittany F. Manchester filed their lawsuit in federal court against FCA US LLC, the parent company of Dodge.

According to the complaint, the Manchesters bought the vehicle from Bergeron of Metairie on July 25, 2023 for $76,663.04. After the purchase, they say they discovered several issues that violated both implied and express warranties. Despite repair attempts by the defendant, the plaintiff say the defects persisted.

The Manchesters are seeking compensatory damages, interest, costs and other damages.
