A Louisiana man claims the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado he purchased was defective.
Floyd Navero filed a lawsuit in federal court against General Motors based on the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and Redhibition pursuant to the same act.
According to the complaint, Navero's vehicle had defects related to its emission system, infotainment, electrical and engine components. He alleges these defects existed at the time the vehicle left GM's control and present reliability and safety concerns. Navero says he presented his vehicle for repair multiple times between October 19, 2023, and November 15, 2023. However, he claims that despite these attempts at repair, the vehicle remains in a defective state.
The plaintiff is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 from GM.
