A Ferriday man claims the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe he purchased was defective.
Tyrone Thomas filed his lawsuit in federal court against General Motors.
According to the complaint, the vehicle had issues related to its engine, computer and sensor components. Despite multiple repair attempts at GM's authorized service and repair facility, Natchez Chevrolet GMC, from September to November 2023, the defects persisted. As a result of these non-conformities, the vehicle was out of service for an excessive number of days.
The lawsuit is based on the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and Redhibition pursuant to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Thomas is seeking damages exceeding $50,000.
