Cameren Torres sues United Services Automobile Association for car accident damages

In the United States District Court, Western District of Louisiana, Cameren Torres has filed a lawsuit against the United Services Automobile Association (USAA). The case, identified as 5:24-cv-00514-SMH-MLH, was lodged on April 17, 2024. The dispute revolves around an automobile accident that occurred on May 15, 2023.

Represented by attorney Geya D. Prudhomme from Dudley Debosier, Torres alleges that Christopher Callaway caused a collision by abruptly reversing his vehicle into hers. The incident took place on E. Lindbergh Avenue on Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. As a result of the crash, Torres claims to have suffered physical pain and suffering (past and future), mental anguish (past and future), loss of enjoyment of life (past and future), and medical expenses (past and future).

The plaintiff is seeking judgment against USAA, Callaway's insurance provider at the time of the accident. She demands reasonable damages along with legal interest from the date of judicial demand until paid, all costs of these proceedings, and any other equitable relief to which she may be entitled.
