The LSBA, along with Acadiana Legal Service Corporation and Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, hosted the 2nd Disaster Law Collaboration Summit in Lafayette on Thursday, June 20, and Friday, June 21.
The Summit brought together Louisiana’s disaster response and recovery organizations and the state’s civil legal aid providers for 2 days of networking and learning about the critical role civil legal aid plays before, during, and after disasters. The summit also featured 8 hours of CLE programming over the course of the 2-day event, and a networking reception hosted by the LA Bar Foundation to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Legal Service Corporation.
