BATON ROUGE – A local bowling alley is being sued for allegedly failing to pay a local advertising company fees in 2014. Lamar Advertising of Louisiana filed suit against The Italian Bowl LLC in the 19th Judicial District Court on April 8. The plaintiff claims that the defendant entered into an agreement with Lamar Advertising to pay $10,400 for advertising work on Aug. 15, 2014. -

BATON ROUGE – An East Baton Rouge woman is suing a local janitorial service after slipping and falling in a restroom. Ashley Verner filed suit against Jani King of Baton Rouge Janitorial Service in the 19th Judicial District Court on April 7. On May 8, 2014, Verner states that she was working at Sage Rehab and she went to use the restroom where there were not any signs posted to indicate that there was a Jani King employee cleaning the restroom. -
Louisiana AG antitrust lawsuit against Pfizer remanded to federal court; Case relying on assistance from highly paid private attorneys
BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana Attorney General’s Office has again hired a list of political allies for help with an antitrust lawsuit brought against Pfizer which mirrors similar actions taken against several other pharmaceutical companies. Louisiana Attorney General James “Buddy” Caldwell initially filed the lawsuit against Pfizer on behalf of the State of Louisiana in the 19th Judicial District Court in East Baton Rouge Parish on April 10. -
