Pipeline product manufacturer sues distributor for breach of contract

DONALDSONVILLE – A Gonzales-based pipeline products manufacturer is suing its West Virginia-based product distributor for breach of contract.

A+ Manufacturing filed suit in the 23rd Judicial District against Valtronics on Jan. 11.

A+ claims Valtronics broke an exclusive distributorship agreement it had with the company by failing to buy a contractually required number of units. The plaintiff claims that under the contract Valtronics agreed to buy 76 vaporizers between 2007 and 2011, but only managed to purchase 46.

A+ is seeking to terminate the exclusive agreement in addition to requesting reimbursement of related attorney's fees.

A+ is being represented by Baton Rouge-based attorney Kelly Kromer Boudreaux of Phelps Dunbar.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Alvin Turner, Jr.
