Woman sues Walgreens after slip and fall

NEW ORLEANS - A New Orleans woman is suing Walgreens for injuries she claims to have sustained from a slip and fall incident.

Aguillard claims she slipped on a substance on the Bullard Avenue store's floor and fell on her right arm and elbow. The plaintiff asserts Walgreens is responsible for the fall and resultant injuries to her head, back, neck and extremities.

An unspecified amount in damages is being sought for physical pain and suffering, mental pain and suffering, lost wages and medical expenses.

Aguillard is being represented by Metairie-based attorney Mark W. Smith.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
