DONALDSONVILLE – An East Baton Rouge company is suing an internet company for allegedly unpaid business fees.

Franklin Press, Inc. filed suit against Streetcarshops.com in the 23rd Judicial District Court on Aug. 3. Franklin Press claims Streetcarshops.com has refused to pay on an open account. The plaintiff alleges the defendant owes $32,301.90 for printing and mailing services. Franklin Press asserts it issued demand letters to the defendant who remanded a payment of only $3,000 of the total owed.

The defendant is accused of not disputing the services rendered and still not paying on the account.

Damages in the amount of $32,301.90 plus 25 percent of the amount due in attorney's fees are requested by the defendant.

Franklin Press, Inc. is represented by Thomas D. Fazio of Baton Rouge-based McCollister, McCleary & Fazio.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Thomas Kliebert, Jr.

Case no. 104457.
