GRETNA – A Kentucky company is suing a St. Rose company for non-payment on a rent-to-own outbuilding.
Graceland Properties LLC filed suit against Big Easy Offroad Track LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on April 15.
Graceland Properties claims Easy Offroad Track purchased a metal outbuilding from them and had it delivered and installed at their St. Rose facility, which was to be paid for in monthly installments of $448.47 for a 60 month period. The plaintiff alleges that the defendant failed to make timely payments of the building and now owe them an amount of $3,296.57, which includes additional payments and late fees.
Graceland Properties asserts that they are entitled to take possession of the building unless they are paid the full amount of overdue payments.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
The plaintiff seeks to seize the building as well as be reimbursed for costs of proceedings, past due and accruing rental payments and reasonable attorney’s fees.
