NEW ORLEANS – A New Orleans resident is suing a contractor for breach of contract.
Victoria Snider filed suit against Da Vinci Builders LLC and Malcolm Lee Page Jr. in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on July 10.
Snider contracted Da Vinci Builders for renovations and repairs on her property, located on 3031 Ponce de Leon Street in New Orleans. Totaling more than $94,000, the contract called for extensive work that the plaintiff claims was not completed and ultimately abandoned.
Da Vinci Builders is alleged to have improperly installed numerous items, including a metal roof, lighting and windows in addition to not adhering to local building codes when installing the plumbing and HVAC/mechanical systems.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract, with an unspecified amount in damages sought for rebuilding the property.
The plaintiff is represented by Albert J. Nicaub of Metairie-based Nicaud & Sunseri LLC.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge, Michael G. Bagneris.
