Ford Motor Company sues man who leased vehicle for excessive wear and tear

GRETNA – A man who leased a vehicle from a corporate car manufacturer is being sued after allegedly causing excessive wear and tear to the vehicle when he was leasing it.

Ford Motor Credit Company LLC filed suit against Corey Keith Goldman in the 24th Judicial District Court on April 17.

Ford Motor Credit Company alleges it entered into an agreement to lease a 2010 Ford Edge to Goldman. The plaintiff asserts that the defendant defaulted on the terms of the contract and owes $1,292.25 for excessive wear and tear and taxes owed on the contract.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of $1,292.25 plus attorney’s fees are sought by the plaintiff.

Ford Motor Credit Company is represented by Keith M. Frey of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
