NEW ORLEANS – A construction company alleges it is owed more than $300,000 following repairs after Hurricane Isaac.
Trinity Construction of Kenner LLC filed suit against Command Center Inc. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Nov. 17, 2014.
On Sept. 1, 2012, Trinity allegedly entered into a contractual agreement with Command Center stipulating general labor services at $14 an hour and supervisory services at $18 an hour.
The repairs agreed upon were in response to Hurricane Isaac requiring maintenance at various locations. Once Trinity completed services for Command Center an invoice was sent to the defendant totaling $349,419. Trinity alleges the defendant has improperly sent funds via wire transfers. Additionally, Command Center has purportedly lost or destroyed documents detailing the total sum of hours completed by Trinity’s personnel.
The plaintiff is represented by Scott M. Galante and Salvador I. Bivalacqua of Galante & Bivalacqua LLC.
The case has been assigned to Div. D Judge Nakisha Ervin-Knott.
