NEW ORLEANS – A New Orleans-based law firm is suing a client it claims owes more than $42,000 in legal fees.
Mott Shields LLP filed suit against Murphy Construction Co., Inc. and L. Murphy Trucking Services INC. in the Orleans Parish District Court.
Mott Shields claims it provided representation in an arbitration matter involving Murphy Construction Co., Inc. and L. Murphy Trucking Services Inc. The plaintiff alleges it provided legal services on an open account basis to the defendants who owe $42,044.09.
The plaintiff is represented by attorney Eric A. Mund.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
