A Texas man is suing a former client, alleging lack of payment for services rendered.

Carlos E. Rodriguez filed a lawsuit Oct. 16 in U.S. District Court Eastern District of Louisiana against Catastrophe Services International and International Restoration Group Inc, alleging he wasn’t paid for demolition, renovation and remodeling services.

According to the complaint, Rodriguez and his employees conducted several demolition, remodeling, and renovation services for the defendant between around June 1-Sept. 7, 2007. The suit says he provided $2 million in total services.

The lawsuit states the plaintiff submitted final request for payment in September 2007, and he has not been reimbursed for all of his work.

Rodriguez seeks damages specified above, plus additional unspecified damages, litigation costs and other relief deemed appropriate by the court. He is represented by attorneys Joseph M. Bruno of Bruno & Bruno in New Orleans and Debbie Lopez-Carr of Lopez-Carr & Associates in Plano.
