Louisiana real estate business seeks $4 million from PBLS

A Louisiana real estate company is suing a Metairie business to recover monies it alleges are owed for a real estate deal.

Harbour Townhomes filed a lawsuit Nov. 11 in U.S. District Court Eastern District of Louisiana against PBLS Inc. in Metairie.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 22, 2006, Harbour sold to PBLS a parcel of real estate comprising part of the Tchefuncte Harbour Townhomes in Madisonville for $11 million. The defendant paid $7 million and agreed to pay the remaining $4 million in installments and with interest, the suit states.

The suit says the defendant has failed to pay the $4 million.

Harbour Townhomes seeks to recover the $4 million plus interest and attorney fees. It is represented by attorneys James F. Willeford and Reagan L. Toledano of Willeford & Toledano in New Orleans.
