Gas processor owes more than $600,000 for unpaid invoices, Panel Specialists Inc. claims

Gas pipeline

NEW ORLEANS – A Louisiana firm that supplies industrial instrumentation says Tenawa Haven, a gas processing facility, owes for equipment and services it provided for a new plant in Kansas.

Panel Specialists Inc. filed a lawsuit Dec. 18 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Tenawa Haven Processing LLC, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

According to the complaint, the parties entered into a master service agreement on Dec. 13, 2013, whereby PSI would provide merchandise for Tenawa’s latest gas processing facility in Kansas. Although the work began in August 2014, Tenawa has failed to pay invoices for work issued since March. The amount in question totals more than $600,000.

Panel Specialists seeks reimbursement for the unpaid invoices, plus interest and litigation costs. It is represented by attorneys L. Etienne Balart and Christopher D. Cazenave of the New Orleans firm Jones Walker LLP.
