GRETNA – A man claims his former business partners have failed to respond to or acknowledge his notice of withdrawal.

Marvin V. Cavallino, DDS filed a suit against E. James Anderson MD, Nicholas A Danna III MD and SAC's LTD in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 3.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendants formed a partnership in 1979, which was to be carried out over the next 30 years or until otherwise decided to be dissolved. After fulfilling the partnership time, Cavallino chose to sell his interest and remove himself from the partnership in 2015. The suit states that after sending a notice of withdrawal, Cavallino has received no reply or confirmation of the notice of withdrawal from either of the defendants.

The defendants are accused for their failure to acknowledge or communicate with Cavallino about the details of the operation.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. He is represented by Douglas A. Kewley, Thomas F. Gardner and W. Lee Kohler of Gardner and Kewley in Metairie. The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
