GRETNA – American Express is seeking damages over claims that a Jefferson Parish customer failed to pay her credit card balance.
American Express Centurion Bank filed a suit against Crystal Pierce in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 24.
According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement in which the plaintiff agreed to allow the defendant use of a credit card, for which the defendant would make payments. The suit states that the defendant enjoyed the benefits of using the credit card, but failed to make payments for the balance of $2,378.35.
The defendant is accused of failure to make payments for the balance of the credit card.
The plaintiff is seeking $2,378.35 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth C. Hyman, Jeremy L.
