GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking damages against a customer for his allegedly open account.
Capital One Bank filed a suit against Phillip M. Ponson in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 19.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant for his personal use. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off his balance of more than $3,000.
The defendant is accused of open account for failing to pay off the balance of the credit card.
The plaintiff is seeking $3,215.11 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake G. Guidry of Couch, Conville and Blitt LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
