Former patient allegedly failed to pay surgical center more than $55,000

GRETNA – A surgical center claims that a patient allegedly failed to pay his balance.

Crescent City Surgical Centre Operating Company LLC filed a suit against Norman Evans in the 24th Judicial District Court, Jefferson Parish, on July 29.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement in October 2015, in which the plaintiff delivered services to the defendant. Under the agreement, the plaintiff would be paid for the labor put forth. The suit states that after incurring a balance of more than $55,000, the defendant has failed to make payments on the balance due.

The defendant is accused of open account through failing to pay the plaintiff as previously agreed.

The plaintiff is seeking payment of the outstanding balance. The plaintiff is represented by Larry Bankston and Jenna H. Linn of New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
