Community college alleges former student failed to pay for classes

GRETNA – A community college claims that a student allegedly failed to pay after attending class there.

The Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit against Rosa S. Junior in the 24th Judicial District Court, Jefferson Parish, on July 27.

According to the claim, the defendant was a student at the community college during the Spring 2013 semester. The suit states that the defendant is indebted to the plaintiff for more than $3,000.

The defendant is accused of open account for failing to pay the required fees.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Rokeya J. Morris with the Louisiana Department of Justice.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
