Byrne, Rice and Turner Inc. alleges Houma company owes it more than $9,000

NEW ORLEANS – A New Orleans corporation alleges a Houma company owes it for equipment and materials.

Byrne, Rice and Turner Inc. filed a suit against Offshore Specialty Fabricators LLC in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on May 23.

According to the claim, the plaintiff delivered services to the defendant with the agreement that the plaintiff would be paid for the work completed. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the balance of more than $9,000.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $9,915.52 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph J. Bailey of Provosty, Sadler and deLaunay in Alexandria.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.
