NEW ORLEANS – An Orleans Parish business alleges it was not paid for a work on a shoring contract.
Crescent Shoring LLC filed a suit against Carolyn Porter in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on April 15.
According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into a contract and the plaintiff issued $30,000 to the defendant as an advancement for a shoring contract in 2011. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make a full payment back to the plaintiff.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract through failure to pay.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Michael C. Code of Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
