GRETNA – A woman has filed a wrongful death suit against a Jefferson parish nursing facility.
Linda Seals filed a suit against St. Joseph of Harahan LLC, doing business as St. Joseph of Harahan, et al. in the 24th Judicial District Court.
According to the claim, the plaintiff alleges her father, Clyde Hill, did not receive proper care while in the defendant's care resulting in a serious decline in his health and eventual death.
The defendants are accused of failure to maintain a reasonable standard and wrongful death.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by Brent P. Frederick, Michael T. Beckers, Ryan N. Ours and Danielle N. Goren of Frederick & Beckers LLc in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
