Sorrento Lumbar Co. Inc. alleges it is owed more than $7,000 for supplies

NEW ORLEANS – A lumber supply company is seeking damages for an allegedly open account.

Sorrento Lumber Co. Inc. filed a suit against Mushatt Developing LLC, Ronald Washington, individually as personal guarantee and John Robert Woolf Jr. and Kim Clark Woolf in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued goods and supplies to the defendant in 2009 with the understanding that it would be paid for what it provided. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make payment on the open account.

The defendants are accused of open account for more than $7,800.

The plaintiff is seeking $7,852.17 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Dwight D. Poirrier of Gonzales.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
