Constructor worker alleges he was injured on the job because of extension cord

NEW ORLEANS – A construction worker alleges that he was injured on the job because of an extension cord.

Donald Graham filed a suit against T.O.P. Property Solutions LLC in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Sept. 8.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was carrying wallboard into a piece of property that was owned by the defendant when the incident occurred on April 25, 2016. The suit states that the plaintiff was caused injury when he tripped over an extension cord that had been strung across the front entrance of the property.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. He is represented by Marc L. Frischhertz of Frischhertz, Poulliard, Frischhertz & Impastato in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
