Crescent Bank & Trust says borrower didn't pay for car

GRETNA – Crescent Bank & Trust is seeking damages after a customer allegedly failed to pay back the plaintiff for a car he bought.

Crescent Bank & Trust filed a suit against Daniel D. Armond in the 24th Judicial District Court on April 20.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement in which the defendant accumulated late charges on a vehicle that he was leasing. The suit states that the defendant owes the plaintiff more than $8,000 for the car, plus other charges.

The defendant is accused of failure to pay in a timely manner.

The plaintiff is seeking $8,625.68 plus accrued interest of $5,270.03, late charges of $374.67, repossession expenses and fees of $1,350, plus other interest and attorney expenses. The plaintiff is represented by Keith M. Frey.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 760119.
