Man alleges he was injured in fall at Harrah's New Orleans Hotel

NEW ORLEANS – A man claims that he slipped and fell on a wet floor at a hotel and casino.

Jonathan Peters filed a suit against Jazz Casino Co. LLC, JCC Holding Co. II LLC and Caesars Entertainment Operating Co. Inc. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was a guest at the Harrah's New Orleans Hotel on March 13, 2015, when the incident occurred. The suit states that as the plaintiff was exiting the location, he was caused to slip and fall on a slippery walkway and hose.

The defendants are accused of negligence through failing to warn of the slippery floor and overall negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. He is represented by Jessica W. Hayes of Murray Law Firm in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Regina Bartholomew Woods.
