Baton Rouge Community College alleges it is owed more than $1,000 from former student

NEW ORLEANS – Baton Rouge Community College claims that it was not paid by an Orleans Parish resident.

The Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Baon Rouge Community College filed a suit against Tiffani A. Davis in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff delivered services to the plaintiff that were valued at more than $1,000 for the Spring 2013 semester. The suit states that the plaintiff has not received payment from the defendant.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,161.20 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
