NEW ORLEANS – A man alleges a Lafayette business failed to take back furniture and drapery that were unacceptable.

Mark Kline filed a suit against Posh Exclusive Interiors Inc. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Oct. 12.

According to the claim, the defendant sold furniture and drapery to the plaintiff. The suit states, however, that the products provided to the plaintiff were not in an acceptable condition, causing the plaintiff to seek a refund for more than $31,000.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract through failing to provide suitable items or refund.

The plaintiff is seeking $31,141.25 in damages. He is represented by Brian D. Katz of Herman, Herman & Katz in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
