American Express claims that a customer owes more than $11,000

GRETNA – American Express is seeking more than $11,000 for an allegedly open account.

American Express Centurion Bank filed a suit against Kurt Munster in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 31.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant for his use. The suit states that the defendant used the card for more than $11,000 in purchases and failed to pay off the balance.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $11,173 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
