Credit Acceptance Corp. alleges account remains unpaid

GRETNA – A credit corporation is seeking more than $21,000 in allegedly outstanding charges from a St. Tammany Parish resident.

Credit Acceptance Corp. filed a suit against Kenneth W. Alderson in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 7.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued the defendant a retail installment contract. The suit states that the defendant owes more than $21,000 and has not paid off this balance.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $21,219.52 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Edward F. Bukaty III and Warren W. Wingerter Jr. of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
