More than $18,000 sought by Bank of America for allegedly open credit card account

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking damages for an allegedly open credit card account.

Bank of America filed a suit against Robin S. Stelly in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 4.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit account to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant failed to make payments on the account and now owes more than $18,000.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $18,965.09 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
