Discover Bank is seeking more than $3,000 for an allegedly open credit card account

GRETNA – Discover Bank is seeking more than $3,000 from a Jefferson Parish man.

Discover Bank filed a suit against Joseph C. Ryan in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 7.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make payments on the account of more than $3,600.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $3,682.80 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
