GRETNA – The owner of a salon is seeking damages, claiming that a previous manager breached his duty and used company assets for himself.

Advanced Salon & Spa LLC and Julie Dinh filed a suit against Pedro J. Bendana in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 3.

According to the claim, Dinh and Bendana are the sole members of Advanced Salon & Spa LLC in Gretna and that Bendana was the acting member of the salon until October. The suit states that the defendant intentionally lost the lease on the property that the salon was located at, and then used the assets of the salon for his own purposes.

The defendant is accused of breach of fiduciary duty.

The plaintiffs are seeking an unspecified amount in damages. They are represented by Christopher M. Gaffney and Michael G. Gaffney of Gaffney & Gaffney in Metairie and Charles V. Cusimano III of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
