Northwestern State University alleges former student owes for fees

NEW ORLEANS – A student allegedly owes more than $2,500 to a university.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through Northwestern State University filed a suit against Randy Greenup in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Nov. 23.

According to the claim, the defendant maintained an open account for the fall 2012 and spring 2013 semesters. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay more than $2,500.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $2,618.79 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Rokeya J. Morris of the Louisiana Department of Justice.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
