GRETNA – A company is seeking damages claiming that a Prairieville roofing company's negligence caused water damage.
Gulf Ventures Associates LLC filed a suit against Roofing Solutions LLC and Vela Insurance Services LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 30.
According to the claim, Roofing Solutions LLC failed to properly install and safeguard its work at the plaintiff's Landmark Hotel Tower in Metairie, as the roof experienced leaking around a skylight.
Roofing Solutions LLC is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Robert J. Burvant and Len R. Brignac of New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
