NEW ORLEANS – A St. Tammany Parish woman alleges her child's father has refused to share evidence to establish his parentage.

Jana Ritter filed a suit against Victor Loraso III in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Nov. 17, alleging failure to fulfill his obligations.

According to the claim, in 2013, Ritter filed a petition to establish child support, alleging Loraso was the father of her unborn child. A custody battle ensued. The suit states Loraso has refused to furnish evidence, knowing that it would result in monetary damages for the plaintiff.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
