Mortgage company alleges customer owes more than $67,000

GRETNA – A mortgage company is suing a Terrytown man, alleging he owes more than $67,000 from a promissory note.

Suntrust Mortgage Inc. filed a lawsuit Dec. 6 against Ryan T. Rabalais in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to pay what is owed.

According to the claim, Suntrust is the holder of a promissory issued by Rabalais. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make payment on fees owed that total $67,190.83.

Suntrust Mortgage seeks all money owed, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Jason R. Smith of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
