NEW ORLEANS – American Express is seeking damages for an allegedly open account held by an individual and a corporation.
American Express Bank FSB filed a suit against Eddington Fredericks and Gooding Homes LLC in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Dec. 5.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant that was used to make more than $11,000 in charges. The defendant has allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking $11,148.36 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Jason Olivier of the DeGrasse Law Firm in Mandeville.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
