Mortgage association seeks payment of a promissory note from Parish of St. Tammany resident

GRETNA – A mortgage association is seeking damages from a Parish of St. Tammany man for a unpaid promissory note.

Federal National Mortgage Association filed a suit against Mark David Callender in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is the holder of a promissory note. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make payments on the note, despite requirements that he do so. The defendant is accused of failure to pay off  his promissory note in a timely manner.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Louis Graham Arceneaux.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
